So, I wanted to focus on helping normalize and promote non-alc beer in the hospitality world. From the outset, Dylan and I set out not to make a great non-alc IPA, but instead to make a great IPA that just happens to also be non-alc. I felt I could help and contribute to its future.
Werk Force kicked off their 10th Anniversary Extravaganza on Wednesday, and they’re carrying it all the way through Sunday with a special Sleepy Bear release and a special Thank You IPA release. In Kalamazoo, Wax Wings is partying all weekend to celebrate their sixth bithday with livemusic, a darts competition and wrestling.
The IPA-focused Beerfest will also serve non-hoppy beers for those who prefer other styles, but a fan vote will be conducted by Brewery DB’s virtual tap list to determine the People’s Choice Hoppy Beer Award. Beerfest will also have food trucks, interactive games, and livemusic.
