The LA Rum Festival is a paradise for rum lovers. Photo: Lee Joseph/Reverberations Media If you say “mmm” when you think of rum, then the LA Rum Fest is for you. Also known as the California Rum Fest SoCal Edition, it takes place Thursday, Aug. Rum Festivals are more than a tasting experience.
Tickets to the Cityscape NYE party are $200 and $1,500 for a VIP corner seating table. The menu also includes small plates, Bay Area craft beer and wine, top-shelf liquors, and a private reserve collection featuring rare vintages from prominent wineries such as California-based Stag’s Leap, Duckhorn, and Raymond Vineyard.
General admission tickets are $49, VIP tickets are $79 and those also includes food and early access at 1 p.m. This is a ticketed event and people can vote on their favorite cocktail. The price includes mini drinks from each of the 21 participating bars. Tickets can be purchased here.
