Sokol Blosser is known for its Oregon-born wines, but this GSM blend hails from Washington’s Columbia Valley. It’s a limited edition Rhone style blend that was originally thought to be unworkable due to early frost, but which was surprisingly salvaged when secondary buds emerged on the vines. Let’s see how it tastes! I initially found this wine a little off-putting, overly beefy and earthy.
