The demand for beer has surged considerably across Odisha due to rising temperature. As per a report, the excise department of Odisha has shared that about 19.65 lakh cartons of beer have been sold in Odisha between 1st -25th April. In the same period last year(1st-25th April), about 13.61 lakh cartons of beer were sold in Odisha and this year beer sales in the state have registered a growth of around 44.37 percent during the same period.
