The Launch of True Story True Story was founded by Bourbon Hall of Famer , Wes Henderson. Having established Angel’s Envy with his father in 2010, Henderson went on to become a pivotal figure in the bourbon industry. He retired in 2022. However, Wes Henderson is back on the scene with the launch of True Story. Along with the bourbon reviewed above, True Story has also unveiled a rye whiskey finished in PX and Oloroso sherry and Brazilian ambruana casks.
