As such, independent bottlings of Glenfiddich are extremely rare. Bottles such as this Glenfiddich 1956 29 Year Old for Intertrade, therefore, are highly prized. This 1956 vintage was distilled even before the single malt scotch was marketed outside of the United Kingdom. It is still family-owned and run by the Grants.

When the expression was first released, The Glendronach 21 Year Old bottling initially contained considerably older whisky stocks the same as the brand’s other expressions.

This Glen Scotia whisky was distilled in 1973 and bottled in 1999, the same year that Glen Scotia reopened under Loch Lomond Distillers following two periods of closure in the 1980s and 90s. There were two versions of this bottling release: one bottled in 1996 and one bottled in 1999.
