The program offers invaluable, hands-on experience in managing and executing vast, high-volume events at the annual Tales of the Cocktail conference. To qualify as a CAP Red Coat, applicants must be: Industry professionals (bartenders, bar managers, barbacks, brand ambassadors, educators, distillers, etc.)
Founded in 2008, the TOTCF Cocktail Apprentice Program has hosted more than 540 apprentices who have gained valuable experience working and managing large-scale, high-volume events during the annual TOTC conference.
Between Irish pubs and high-volume cocktail bars, Million honed his flavors as a barback, squeezing his own custom juices and lemonades, earning him the moniker “The Lemonade Man.” A veteran of the service industry, Million was working in small restaurants 13 years ago before moving to New York to pursue music.
Prior to Clover Club, Reiner became the face of one of New York’s first high-volume craft cocktail bars when she and Fedroff, along with four other partners, founded The Flatiron Lounge (2003-2018). Among the bartenders long-associated with Clover Club, there’s Tom Macy who started as a barback and became head bartender.
