Lately, I’ve been making spritzes with Le Moné aperitif wine from New York’s Finger Lakes region. I’ve substituted it for the triple sec in a batch of sangria and swapped it for the simple syrup in a French 75. But my favorite way to drink Le Moné is as a simple spritz. It’s a versatile cocktail ingredient, too.

It is as complex as it is simple when imbibed with NOLET’S Silver Gin. Simple Syrup (or to taste) 2-3 oz. Simple Syrup 2 Fresh Lavender, Rosemary, Mint, Rose Petals, Tarragon, Juniper, Peppercorns, Citrus Wheel or any other Herb, Fruit or Flower 4 oz. Simple Syrup 1 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin 1 oz.

When making this cocktail, I turned to the simple Vodka & Cranberry, also known as the Cape Cod. I was inspired to make a more aperitif style cocktail, with the inclusion of Campari and sherry, and topping it with soda. simple syrup 1/4 oz. Rum , Vermouth Diplomatico Rum Blood Moon Negroni Ingredients 1 Part Diplomatico Mantuano 1 Part Sweet Vermouth 1 Part Bitter Italian Aperitif Grapefruit Peel Preparation Add ingredients into an ice filled mixing glass and stir to combine/chill. Simple Syrup 1/2 oz. Top with Prosecco and pomegranate arils. Garnish and enjoy.
