A few months back I found myself picking up a bottle of the Italian Liqueur Aperol. Knowing that it’s basically a Manhattan ruined by Campari, you’ll never see me reviewing that on this blog. Muck like the liqueur itself it’s best used as an aperitif, and for that it makes for a perfect starter for a cocktail party.

Lovely as an aperitif. 10 Classico from Lyre’s Available in 250ml cans and 750ml bottles (the “Grande”), Lyre’s Classico is “an Italian-inspired sparkling with a crisp, dry finish.” Good, active bubbles.
