The Balvenie Fifty Collection The Balvenie Fifty Collection will consist of just 375 bottles that will be released annually (125 per year) from August 7th, 2024 until the end of 2026. The First Edition is a 1973 vintage Balvenie whisky, matured in a European oak refill butt for 50 years and bottled from the single cask #8720.

The Sherry Edition was the initial set to be released, The Port Edition – its successor and the most recent release – will be followed by a third Edition in 2025 before the last Edition will be unveiled in 2026. Only time will tell what exciting collaborations and casks we will see for the last two sets in this series.

Ballantine’s , the multi-award-winning blended scotch whisky, has unveiled the second chapter of the Ballantine’s 40 Year Old Masterclass Collection: Chapter Two ‘The Waiting’. Only 108 bottles of the 40 year old blend have been produced. The resulting whisky, bottled at 45.4% Chapter One, The Remembering , was released in 2023.
