The Sherry Edition was the initial set to be released, The Port Edition – its successor and the most recent release – will be followed by a third Edition in 2025 before the last Edition will be unveiled in 2026. Port wine has a variety of categories that, just like in whisky, can be tricky to wrap your head around.

The whisky was matured initially in American white oak and then finished in Italian Amarone red wine casks and ‘Kintsugi’ casks. US-based Dalmore fans can currently find the 16 Year Old on Wine-Searcher for around $299.99. Gregg Glass and Maurizio Mucciola oversaw the creation of 15 Year Old The Collectible.

The Bowmore Sherry Oak Cask Collection The redesign of the packaging is set to be rolled out across Bowmore’s entire range in 2025. The whiskies celebrate the diverse nature of Europe’s wine regions and terroirs. For now, the distillery has unveiled eight new whiskies that display the new packaging, divided into two collections.
