In 2025, the Second Edition will be released. The First Edition is a 1973 vintage Balvenie whisky, matured in a European oak refill butt for 50 years and bottled from the single cask #8720. It has been hand-selected by Balvenie’s Malt Master, Kelsey McKechnie.

Dallas Dhu Distillery ceased production in 1983 in the midst of The Whisky Loch , and has remained silent ever since. SMWS Tamdhu 1983 16 Year Old 8.22 Its ABV of 56.3% is impressive considering the extended aging.
