Rosebank Distillery Ltd was formed in 1894, and in a significant shift in the industry, it was among the companies that amalgamated in 1914 to form the Scottish Malt Distillers.

This is ironic considering that whiskies from Brora and Port Ellen have since become highly sought after and extremely expensive to purchase should you come across some at auction.
