A multi-award-winning release, The Glendronach 21 Year Old helped establish the brand’s reputation as the quintessential Highland malt when the expression was named the ‘Best Highland Single Malt’ at the World Whisky Awards 2020. Purportedly, those drinking the Parliament 21 Year Old in 2020 were actually enjoying a 27 Year Old whisky.

Samaroli was known and loved for his championing of cask strength, vintage scotch whisky at a time when blends ruled the market. As such, Samaroli was always seeking unique and spectacular casks to bottle and present to the world.

In a collaboration between Glen Scotia Distillery , located in Campbeltown , and The Maclean Foundation , 210 bottles of a single cask release will be sold to raise funds for clean water projects. Each bottle sold will provide one person with clean water for life.
