CATOCTIN CREEK RABBLE ROUSER BOTTLED IN BOND RYE 6 YEAR Made to commemorate Catoctin Creek’s 15th anniversary, the brand announces their oldest release to date: a 6 year-old Rabble Rouser Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey. It was produced in the fall 2017 season from 100% rye and was pot-distilled. It is bottled at 124.2

Between 2019-2024, Nick Offerman collaborated with Lagavulin to release four Offerman Edition expressions, each 11 Years Old and bottled at 46% ABV, featuring cask finishes including Guiness, Charred Oak, and ex-Caribbean rum. The Offerman Charred Oak Edition was the first to be released across both the US and UK whisky markets.

Angel’s Envy Triple Oak Triple Oak joins the brand’s Signature Series which also includes the Port Wine Barrel finished bourbon released in 2011 and Caribbean Rum Cask finished rye released in 2013. However, this release was made with whiskey pulled from the 5th or 6th floor rather than the top floor.

Increasingly, the public (both domestically and abroad) began to favour lighter spirits such as rum and vodka. So, it was a huge surprise and relief when, in 2017, Diageo announced a £35 million plan to bring Brora and Port Ellen back online. Whisky became a drink of the past and did not appeal to a younger generation.

THE CABINET BARREL PROOF AMERICAN WHISKEY (2023 RELEASE) The Cabinet is a blend of straight rye and bourbon whiskeys from Proof & Wood Ventures. Each whiskey in the blend was distilled in Indiana and then aged, blended, and bottled in Kentucky. Also included are two straight bourbon whiskeys distilled in 2016 and 2017.

SMWS Today The SMWS now bottles around 500 casks a year, diversifying its spirit range to also include single grain, world whiskies, rum, gin, cognac, and other spirits.
