In 2016, I opened ROKC (Ramen Oysters Kitchen Cocktails) in Hamilton Heights, and following its success, I opened NR (’N ROLL) on the Upper East Side in Fall of 2019. It’s made with Ethiopian coffee rum, creme de banana, allspice dram, pineapple, orange, lime, and nutmeg. Talk to us about your beverage program.

The cocktail combines gold rum , lime juice, honey syrup, and Champagne or sparkling wine , but since these games are held in Paris, we recommend opting for the French sparkler. Made with cachaça , the spirit of Brazil, along with white sugar and a whole lime, the cocktail also got some extra attention during the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Mount Gay, the world’s oldest running rum distillery located in St Lucy at the northern tip of Barbados, has called this island home since 1703, celebrating its 320th anniversary this year. The Estate distillates were looked after by Master Blender Trudiann Branker until she knew the rum was ready for release.
