The 12 Year Old Double Cask expression was launched in 2016, and the range is still available today, complete with a 15 Year Old, an 18 Year Old, and a 30 Year Old expression.

This Redwood Empire whiskey was bottled at cask strength after being matured for a minimum of four years in Northern California. Redwood Empire Whiskey was founded in Sonoma County, California, in 2016.

The 16 year old expression was introduced in the 1980s and has since won numerous awards including Gold at the World Whiskies Awards in the category of Islay Single Malt 13 to 20 Years in 2016. It was bottled at cask strength in 2007 and released as part of Diageo’s Special Releases in that same year. Only 6,642 bottles were produced.

In 2015, Mount Gay acquired 324 acres of the old Mount Gay Estate and, for the first time in centuries, the distillery was a fully vertically integrated operation from cane to bottle. Single Estate Series 23_01 is a blend of 2016 and 2017 harvests. The bottle is eco-designed to be a singular vessel for the beautiful liquid inside.
