Since launching in 2013, Blue Chair Bay has taken it upon itself to recreate just about every Caribbean-inspired flavor under the sun. The new Lime Rum expression is itself a variation on the brand’s long-running Key Lime Rum Cream. The component rums used to make Blue Chair Bay are aged up to 15 months in bourbon barrels.

It was aged in American & French oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months and then finished in orange tequila liqueur casks. The barrels used for this bottled in bond decanter series release were distilled in September 1999 and emptied in March 2013 making the age of the bourbon 13 years-old. The bourbon was bottled in February 2024.
