The fact they didn’t distribute meant you had to actually go to their idyllic tasting room and brewery (right on the property of Hill’s family home that seven generations have lived and worked on) in order to try their magnificent Vermont-style pales and IPAs, farmhouse ales, stouts and barleywines. Founded in 2011, Canterbury Brewers & Distillers is on the site of the historic Drury & Biggleston’s Foundry that supplied parts for southeast railway lines. This English single malt whiskey is distilled from 100% malted barley and aged in a first-fill bourbon cask.
