It probably doesn’t shock you to hear that thick glass bottles have heavy environmental footprints. Bonny Doon ‘s Carbon Nay, a Provençal-style rosé that comes in a bottle made from 94% recycled paperboard. A 12-bottle case of Carbon Nay is 24 pounds, whereas most cases of wine clock in closer to 40 pounds.

Each ecoTOTE, which replaces about four bottles of Bacardi Superior rum, is used, cleaned and refilled approximately 100 times, thereby creating a closed loop system. Bacardi also worked with YOTEL Miami on its Sustainable Sips menu, which will be a permanent fixture in their cocktail program.
