In 2010, we founded the Denver International Beer Competition. In 2014, we started the North American Bourbon and Whiskey Competition. As the CEO of Wine Country Network , I have extensive experience running professional beverage competitions. Our company started producing wine competitions in Colorado nineteen years ago.
The International Whisky Competition (IWC) has a long track record of judging only whiskies, from any country, going back to its inception in 2010. The Judges Judging panels consist of highly experienced tasters of the world of whiskey, wine, and beer alike.
This produces a 6-8% ABV ‘wash’, a beer-like drink that is then distilled. Lagavulin 16 Year Old: A Multi-Award-Winning Single Malt Scotch Whisky Lagavulin 16 has the medals to back up its reputation, with awards from many competitions. The peated barley comes from Port Ellen maltings and the water is sourced from Lochan Sholum.
